About these terms
These terms apply to the Blackwatch service and testing community operated by RUST. Blackwatch is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord. By using the bot, participating in its testing program or using an issued client credential, you agree to follow these terms, the community rules and Discord’s applicable terms and policies. If you do not agree, do not submit an application or use the client and contact staff with any questions.

What Blackwatch provides
Blackwatch provides Discord security alerts, configured spam and join-spike controls, moderation commands, incident reports, channel lockdown/restoration tools, tester applications and a separate trusted management client. The current host operates for one configured server per instance. Features depend on the host running and being connected, Discord API availability, permissions, role hierarchy and configuration. Demo screens and website previews are labeled simulations and do not represent live protection.
03 /
Who may use it
You must meet Discord’s minimum age and the eligibility requirements applicable in your location. Only authorized administrators may configure the bot for a server. Tester access is subject to staff review. Tester approval grants access to testing areas; it does not grant moderator, owner or CMD privileges. Staff may approve, reject or remove testing access based on community rules and safe operation.
04 /
Acceptable use
Use Blackwatch only in servers and testing environments where you have permission. Obtain consent for tests involving other members. Do not use it for raids, harassment, unlawful activity, credential theft, attempts to evade permissions, unauthorized access, or disruption of another community. Do not submit malicious application content or sensitive personal information. Follow staff instructions, test-channel rules and Discord policies. Report bugs responsibly instead of exploiting them against other users.
05 /
Commands, credentials and responsibility
Use only the command access granted to you. Review IDs, duration, scope and confirmation prompts before applying a moderation change. Keep each CMD access file private: it is a bearer credential and anyone with a copy can act with the permitted access assigned to it. Never request or share the host bot token or a Discord account password. Tell the owner immediately if a credential is leaked so it can be revoked. Administrators remain responsible for staff trust, bot permissions, role hierarchy, host security and the actions they authorize.
06 /
Availability and limitations
The current community service is free to access. There is no promise of continuous availability, response time or prevention/recovery of every incident. Protection stops when the host is offline, asleep, disconnected or not running Blackwatch. Anti-nuke monitoring currently alerts staff; it does not automatically ban attackers. Permission snapshots do not restore deleted messages, members or channels. Software and configurations may change, and staff may pause testing or disable access for security or operational reasons.
07 /
Data and submissions
The privacy policy explains bot data, applications, commands, reports, retention and requests. Do not submit material you do not have permission to share. Staff may use your submitted bug reports and feedback to diagnose problems and improve Blackwatch; this does not transfer ownership of unrelated content. Posting suggestions or testing the service creates no promise of payment, employment, staff status or permanent access.
08 /
Suspension, leaving and ending access
RUST or the relevant server administrator may restrict or revoke access for misuse, compromised credentials, loss of trust, breach of community rules or safety/operational reasons. You may stop using the client, leave the testing program or ask staff to revoke your credential. Leaving or revocation does not automatically delete stored records; make a separate privacy request where needed.
09 /
No security guarantee and mandatory rights
Blackwatch is provided on an as-available basis. The bot can make mistakes, and authorized staff must review alerts and moderation decisions. RUST does not guarantee that a server will remain secure or that data will never be lost. To the extent permitted by applicable law, RUST is not responsible for loss caused by unauthorized misuse, platform outages or circumstances outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms or the service may be communicated through the support community or the updated website. The date above identifies this version. Contact RUST through the linked community/support server for questions, problems, misuse reports or privacy requests. Do not post credentials or private records in public support chat.
